GHS members of HOSA-Future Health Professionals, competed in the virtual State Leadership Competition, April 12th -16th. We had students compete in the area of Medical Terminology, Health Informatics, Forensics, Behavioral Health, Human growth and development and HOSA Bowl. A special, Thank You to Ms. McHugh, for helping us with the online testing.
We had 3 students qualify to represent GHS and the State of Idaho in the National Leadership competition this summer. We are very proud of the qualifiers.
The team of Angela Thill and Lexi Bennett, placed 2nd in the Forensics competition, it is always a very competitive event. Verenice Martinez placed second in the Health Informatics competition, her first time competing in the particular event. The girls each received a silver metal for their success.
