Code of Conduct Violations by Students with Disabilities, Resulting In Disciplinary Consequences of Ten (10) School Days or Less

 

[ISBA recommends use of the guidelines developed by the Idaho Department of Education in its Idaho Special Education Manual. As of the development of this amended policy, the most recent version of this manual is 2007. Please refer to Chapter 12, Discipline, of the manual. The manual can be found on the internet by going to the Special Education section of the State Department website or by accessing the following link: http://www.sde.idaho.gov/site/special_edu/manual_page.htm]

 

[Option: In situations where discipline is appropriate for a student with disabilities, the District will attempt to comply with the guidelines and/or suggestions contained within the most recent Special Education Manual developed by the Idaho Department of Education, particularly Chapter 12 of such manual, as the circumstances allow.]
